PostSubject: Windsheild removal for dummies.    Sat Apr 09, 2011 9:52 am

I really didn't want to make a thread about this but i need help. im trying to remove the windshield off my civic. i have the trim/weather stripping off and now i just need to cut the seal, I have the tool with the little blade. (if you would call it a BLADE) i have it cut into the seal but when i try to move it along to cut the rest of the seal it doesn't go anywhere it just bends. now ive researched but i must be stupid or something because all the videos on youtube make it look easy shit. what am i doing wrong? and if you have a different trick other then the " BLADE " please let me know. Thanks.

You can use a thin steel cable with a buddy, (one on the inside, one out) if you can make a hole through the seal to start. Just use gloves!!
