PostSubject: Garage heaters and stuff   Wed Aug 17, 2011 5:08 pm

Well, I picked up my urinal and valve assembly today to put in the garage Twisted Evil , so the last piece of the puzzle I need is a heater. I'm looking at the Modine 75,000 BTU Hot Dawg heater, as it has great reviews and a decent price.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a natural gas, power vented heater (Hot Dawg or others), and if there's a brand or heater that I'm overlooking.

Just for reference, my garage is around 1000 sf, fully insulated.

idk but I for one vote for a lift and another 1000 foot added to it so you can keep the coupes in it so i can work on it haha.

Have you looked into waste oil heaters? would think you could use the stuff from your work to heat your garage.

I'm not dealing with waste oil. I thought about it, but I'm lazy. Laughing

And you can bring any RUNNING coupe over to work on it, as long as it doesn't stay long...

I know I'm late but are you adding an attached garage? Must be satisfying having that done. An uneducated question: Since heat rises, wouldn't it be efficient to have the heater lower? Thanks for sharing though.

This is an attached garage that was built with the house. The sticker door goes to the back yard as does the overhead door in the picture.

Yes heat rises, but a ceiling mounted heater is out of the way, and I direct the airflow down.

The majority of "garage heaters" even in commercial and industrial applications are mounted either from the cieling or else a good 15-20 feet from the floor. They are a forced air system(it has a built in fan) so the heat is pushed out and then there are adjustable louvers to direct the air flow.

70 degrees? Are you out there in your underpants? That seems like it would be a bit warm for working in the garage to me. Unless you ar eworried that your car might catch a cold. Either way nice set-up.

I was thinking the same about 70 degrees! haha.

Code says you have to hang heaters from the ceiling (or needs to be a certain height) in garages. Glad to see you got that thing finished up Jim, you're going to love it.

This is because of gas fumes and the like. Most fumes hug the ground, so flames up high are safer.

So when I get a Boner it is not the warm blood that cause my cock to rise, but the excited molecules in my cock. That makes sense cause I only get boners if my cock is excited. bevisnbutthead

It's in!!

Before all you "know it all assholes" decide to comment on the install, show me a picture of your pisser in your garage. I even put the sticker door in a pic for those who say it isn't my place.
