 Overheating HELP!!

I just replaced my thermastat, coolant temp sensor and put new anitfreeze in. Drove it for 3 minutes, did literally a 5 second pull and it said it was overheating. What the hell...

I really don't see the need to make a new post every time you do something. You are still battling the same problem.

As for your question, you don't have all the air out of the system. Did you let the t-stat open and refill the system before you drove it?

Sounds like what Jim said mine was doing this awhile back and I took out the t stat and ran it without it. You won't have a lot of heat but heat is for woman anyways lol

the water pumps are known for being junk too. just a thought.

All you need to do is search for like 2 mins. and you can have that answer. These problems have been discussed for yearrrrrs now.
